The song 'Are Ja Re Hat Natkhat' is one of the most beautiful and pleasing to the ear music one can choose for the Holi celebrations. Sung by Asha Bhosle and Mahendra Kapoor, it was penned by lyricist Bharat Vyas and was featured in the 1959's movie Navrang. The film cast Sandhya Rani, Mahipal, and Keshavrao Date in the lead roles. -

This has to be the most played Holi song ever due to its amazing vibe. You won't be able to get through Holi without hearing this music at least once. Anu Malik's inimitable notes, punctuated by Sunidhi Chauhan's playful vocals, and of course the chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra were just amazing. -
Balam Pichkari (Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani)
This song from the 2013 film is a party favourite among recent Holi songs. Deepika Padukone, who appears in this peppy song performing 'thumkas' with Ranbir Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin, has called it a 'new-age Holi anthem.' Vishal Dadlani and Shalmali Kholgade sang it. Irshad Kamil wrote the lyrics. -
