Fagun Thakrar claims that she managed to grab more eyeballs than Mallika Sherawat in her maiden trip to Cannes.
The UK- based actress danced her way at the opening ceremony of the screening of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Shekhar Kapoor's Bollywood documentary, The Greatest Love Story Ever Told.
Early in her career Fagun Thakrar beat thousands of Britain's hopefuls in the BBC's nationwide search 'Bolly Idol' for new acting talent.
She trained in Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Upon graduating Fagun appeared in numerous commercials across the world brands like 'IBM', 'Vodophone' and 'L'Oreal'.
With her stunning looks and precious talent, Fagun quickly became in high demand starring in Bollywood features like 'Love Aaj Kai', 'Prem' and 'Kings Cross'.
It was long before Hollywood called her name, with starring roles in the upcoming features 'Blood and Curry' and 'Bhopal' - A prayer for Rain' alongside Micha Barton and Martin Sheen.
