Not A Remake
'Agneepath is not a remake because it is a tribute,' says Karan Johar. Those who have been expecting a frame-by-frame copy of the 1990 movie 'Agneepath' will be surprised to see a lot of new angles and characters in the film's remake Agneepath.

Vijay Dinanath Chauhan
The movie stars Hrithik Roshan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan which was originally played by Amitabh Bachchan and has gone down in the history as one of his remarkable roles. Now, how much justice Hrithik does to this character, remains to be seen.

The Glamour Quotient
Priyanka Chopra plays Hrithik's love interest, though her character is not similar to the one played by Madhavi in the original film. Priyanka's stature is certainly bigger than Madhavi's and she is expected to have at least some emotional scenes.

The Scary Kancha Cheena
The villain role of Danny Denzongpa is being played by Sanjay Dutt. Dutt wears very mean look, all bulked up, shaved head and tattoos over his arms.... The actor would scare anyone near him!
Sanju baba truly looks like a terror and far more evil than the old Kancha Cheena. It is also being said that Sanju's look has been inspired by the Hollywood legend Marlon Brando! -
Rishi kapoor In A Negative Role !
For the first time, Rishi Kapoor will be seen doing a complete negative character. Rishi will be seen wearing a pajama-kurta with Kohl in his eyes, he was initially of the opinion that a negative role will not suit his personality.

And the package will be complete with Kat's Item song in the movie. Katrina now will shake her hip with Sanjay Dutt in Agneepath Returns. We sure are looking forward to it!
