Taking a dig at the 35 year old actress Sonam had started calling Aishwarya 'Aunty Ji'. And here's her reason : 'Ash has worked with my dad so I have to call her Aunty na?'
Sonam had said that she is the youth face of L'Oreal in India while Aishwarya appeals to the older women. Aishwarya did not take this dig at her age lying down and made sure Sonam Kapoor did not make it to Cannes and walk the Red Carpet along with her. -
Fossil Shobha - The Porn writer
Sonam couldn't control her reaction to Shobhaa's comments twice, but had to later apologise for both.
Shobhaa (On Sonam's shoot): 'Sonam just doesn't cut it in the sex appeal stakes.'
Sonam: 'for a 60-something porn writer, I am sure she (Shobha) knows what she's talking about.'

Sonam took potshots at Ranbir with Deepika on 'Koffee With Karan'. Here's what she said:
Ranbir is not sexy unless he sheds all his clothes.

Gay For Kareena
Sonam Kapoor has gone on record to say that she wouldn't mind turning 'gay' for Kareena. Later on had to keep clarifying her statement, lest people start having wrong ideas about her sexuality!
