Debut Roles
Her acting career took off with two films with Mahesh Bhatt. The first one was Awarapan in which she got to share the screen space with Emraan Hashmi. The other movie was choreographer Raju Khan's directorial debut Showbiz. She was also seen in a leading role Hide-N-Seek in 2010.

Although not very comfortable with it, but Mrinalini sjhares her maiden on-screen smooch in the movie. Here's what she says 'It is my maiden lip-lock with Rajeev Khandelwal. And I feel that I have already pushed my personal boundaries in this arena. Kissing a guy is no big deal if you love him, but in a film, you tend to be awkward unless you have certain comfort level with your co-star.'
