So, Vidya 'Reshma' Balan now seems to be all set to break her stereotypical image of unpretentious actor with her much awaited cine sizzler The Dirty Picture.
After her cine debut in a Bhalo Theko , Vidya opted for Family genre of movies be it Parineeta, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Eklavya or Paa. Although she won the award for for Best Debutant but this choice of movies, established a typical girl-next-door image of her .
After working on variuos off-beat assignments Ms. Balan tried to strike the big screen with a chirpy image in movies like Salam-E-Ishq,Heyy Babyy and Kismat Konnection but couldn't fetch what she desired. Poor Girl !
Vidya also tried to revamp her career, to make a come back by working in off-beat movies like Ishqiya and No One Killed Jessica and again and fetched the Filmfare Critic Award for Best Actress for 'Ishqiya'.
Although since the begining the career of this Southeren Siren seemd to have lots of hickups because of her unconventional cine traits and being unlike other Bollywood bombshells, but she's come a long way and made a mark for herself.
Once again Vidya seems to chosen a challenging biographic theme in 'The Dirty Picture' but with loads and loads of raunchy moves and othe Bold scenes.....
So now let's see whether it will be an Ooh La La for Vidya Balan or not?
