In Desi Boyz chitrangada plays the role of a college professor, and boy! She looks stunning. She's brought back the sexy professor look, which earlier Sushmita Sen had carried in Main Hoon Na.
She's paired opposite Akshay Kumar in the movie. This will be her first out and out commercial film.
And she isn't stopping at that. Chitrangada realizes that an Item Song can certainly boost her career in a jiffy. So she's wasted no time and has already shot an item song for Akshay-Sonakshi starrer Joker.
Her resemblance late Smita Patil, is uncanny! So much so, that when she was in class 9, she was approached by a filmmaker to play the young Smita Patil, in a documentary on the actor.

Apparently, Chitrangada Singh, was to do a role in Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish 2 but she walked out of the film since producer Rakesh Roshan refused to pay for her extended staff. She's also signed up for Goldie Behl's Me Aur Main with John Abraham and Prachi Desai.
