Love her or hate her, but there's no way you can ignore her. Veena Malik is making sure she gets some space in media every day, without fail.
Here's how she has been keeping us busy of late.
Ms. Malik was feeling too bored we guess, and of course for the monetary reasons, that she decided to look for a life partner through NDTV's Swayamvar (for a good 3 Crores !).
We don't know what Ashmit's take has been, but her motherland folks have been up in arms against her decision, saying she is disrespecting the sacred institution of marriage.
While we were gasping over a Pakistani (non-Hindu) girl's vivah on TV, there came another explosion (and this one was BIG!).
FHM came out with a completely nude cover of Veena Malik, this month. With this act, Veena managed to drop many jaws, raise even more eyebrows and stun some others.
Then things progressed in the expected manner. The woman denied going naked, she claims she was wearing hot pants during the shoot. So she goes on to slap a defamation suit on the magazine worth Rs 10 Crore!
Now whether that was a cover up to duck from the volley of allegations and outcry in home country, we don't know. Although some sources claim it was a pre-planned publicity stunt, but the jury is still out on that.
Her act was termed as 'the height of humiliation for Pakistan, done by a Pakistani on Indian soil' and she, apparently, started getting death threats from the 'Stone Aged country' (as she put it).
And amidst all this, her dad Mohammad Aslam disowned her publically for her shameful act.
Right in the middle of this mess, Veena also shot an item number called The Item Bomb Channo. Veena's look in the song is, reportedly, a direct rip off from Katrina Kaif's latest item song in 'Agneepath' called Chikni Chameli. The first promos of both the songs were almost identical.

While the dust hadn't yet settled on any of these issues yet, that Ms. Malik decided to disappear suddenly. Apparently, she went missing on December 16, 2011 from the sets of her debut movie 'Zindagi 50-50'.
There was a huge furore as nobody could trace her for more than 24 hours. Speculations were rife that she had probably gone back to Pakistan.
But it turned out that Veena was too stressed from the events happening around her that she decided to check-in into a hotel and have some peace.
Well, that seems to be another well planned stunt to us. The gossip columns need some feed afterall.
