    In 2012 Box Office is expected to undergo a volley of remakes. The 1st in the league is Abbas Mustan's multi-starer Players (releasing January 6, 2011) a remake of Italian Job.

    If we review the remake history of B-Town then, most of these remakes were seen crawling at BO. While we speculate how Players would fare, lets have a look at some of the worst remakes of Bollywood.

    God Tussi Great Ho / Bruce Almighty

    Starring Big B, Salman and Priyanka, GTGH was a remake of Jim Carry's Bruce Almighty. If moviegoers are to be believed, then Salman as an aspiring anchor succeeded in bugging the audiences to the fullest. On the other hand Bruce Almighty is amongst some of the most successful movies of Jim's career.

    Ek Ajnabee / Man on Fire

    Amitabh Bachchan and Arjun Rampal starer Ek Ajnabee was a story cut out of Hollywood movie Man on Fire starring Denzel Washington. With Amitabh as Life Savior of a cute girl the entertainment quotient in the movie was lacking. Because of the slow pace of the story the movie emerged as a BO Dud.

    Kaante / Reservoir Dogs

    This Sanjay Gupta multi-starer with Amitabh, Sanjay Dutt and many more was a story based on Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs.

    The story based on the agony and vengeance of NRI proclaimed offenders residing at LA had high degree of resemblance with the original flick but didn't suit the Indian audience and could only manage an average rank on the BO.

    Dil Bole Haddipa was a story about a girl going after her dreams to play in men's cricket team. The story is very much on lines of Hollywood movie She's The Man in which Amanda Bynes had been in the lead. As far as the reception of Rani starer is concerned, the movie could only manage a below average status.
