Zee Cine Awards - Winner List

Its the award season! This Saturday B-Town fraternity witnessed another award ceremony - Zee Cine Awards. Wherein cine stars were honored for some of their memorable performances in the 2011.

So here are the winners of the Zee Cine Awards who governed the Indian Big Screen in 2011.

Best Actor (Popular)

Male : Ranbir Kapoor

Well it seems that this cool Kapoor lad is going to give a tough competition to the Khan's of Industry. Ranbir won the Best Actor award for his performance in Rockstar.

Female : Vidya Balan

It looks that Vidya had been bestowed by the Silk's blessings. The unconventional Sex siren of bollywood was decorated with Best Actresses trophy for her super-sensuous performance in The Dirty Picture.

Best Director & Best Film (Popular)

Rockstar rocked the box office and now it is rocking the awards arena too. Not only Imtiaz was awarded with Best Director's award, 'Rockstar' too suceeded in becoming the Best film of the year.

Best Actor (Critics)

Shahrukh Khan & Vidya Balan

When it comes to awards, SRK still seems to ahead of other Khans of Bollywood. Shahrukh was adjudged as the Best Actor (Critics) whereas in Best Actress (Critics) Vidya emerged as the undisputed best for the category.

Best Film (Critics)

For Best Film ( Critic) category The Dirty Picture left all its competitiors far behind and emerged as the winner.

Best Supporting Actor

Male : Farhan Akhtar (Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara)

In his newest avtar as an actor Farhan proved that he is one of the most versatile and talented persons of Bollywood. Farhan as jocose mature writer was thoroughly accoladed by the masses and earned him the title of Best Supporting Actor.

Female : Swara Bhaskar (Tanu Weds Manu)

For Best Actress in Supporting Role Category, Swara Bhaskar's performances in 'Tanu weds Manu' was gauged as the best.

Best Actor in a Negative Role

Prakash Raj (Singham)

Prakash Raj aka Jaikant Shikre of Singham was adjudged as the Best Actor in Negative role by the jury for his doing outstanding justice to the role.

Best Debut

Male : Rana Dagubatti

Rana Dagubatti ex-beau of bangla bombshell also succeded in making his presence feel in Bollywood and fetched the award for Best Debut Male for Dum Maro Dum.

Female : Parineeti Chopra

As far as Best Debut Female is concerned Parineeti Chopra's performance appears to be a chart topper in all respects. PC-2 aka Parineeti emerged Best Deebutant for her spunky role in Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl.

International Icons

Katrina Kaif and Farhan Akhtar were announced as the international icons of Bollywood.

Best Singer

Male : Mohit Chauhan

For Best Singer Male category Mohit Chauhan's voice for Jo Bhi Main from the movie 'Rockstar' was elected as the Best.

Female – Shreya Ghoshal

For the melodious song Saibo of 'Shor In The City', Shreya won the best singer award in female category.
