Recently, Tarina (wife of Iqbal Sharma) refuted all reports regarding out-of-court settlement with Saif and his pals. Now it seems that Sharmas are loading their arsenal for a legal war which may give a tough time to Saif and his gang of pals.
So, here are a few more Bollywood celebs who had a Rendezvous with judiciary in the past. -
Saif Ali Khan
Well the punch-gate phantom seems to be in no mood of sparing Chotte Nawab.
Recently, Iqbal Sharma's wife Tarina stated that they were approached by Ali Bagash a common friend of theirs and Saif for an out-of-court settlement but, they are unwilling to compromise and will pursue the matter till the end. -
Salman Khan
Bad Boy of Bollywood Salman too landed in the legal net for killing two endangered Chinkaras and two Black Bucks in Jodhpur during the shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hain. Actor even had to spent a few days in jail for his alleged involvement in the case.
In the past also Salman was charged with a case of culpable homicide. However in this case Sallu Miya succeeded in defending himself and the charges were dropped. -
Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay was also arrested in 1993 under TADA for illegal possession of weapons. The actor too received imprisonment in this case. Eventually, Sanju Baba was acquitted of any TADA related offenses in 2006.
Sanjay was granted a bail in the arms case in November 2007, but his appeal for an acquittal from the case is still pending. -
John Abraham
The handsome hunk of the Bollywood too had to undergo a judicial plight. John was accused of causing an accident and injuring two young men when he rammed his motorcycle into a cyclist in 2006.
Later on John was granted a bail in the case by the court. -
Shiney Ahuja
This big screen introvert gangster too spent over three months in jail when his domestic help accused him of rape and threatening her.
In spite of victim's turning hostile the legal proceeding against the actor is still on. Shiney is out on bail but cannot leave the country without the court's permission. -
Preity Zinta
The bubbly beauty too had an encounter with the judicial system when she was slammed with a legal notice in 2009 for hiding the financial position of Kings XI Punjab. Preity filed a counter-petition stating that the court should have run an enquiry before filing a complaint.
Later on the case was closed and the HC asked the parties to settle the matter amicably. -
Fardeen Khan
Fardeen Khan was arrested in 2001 for possessing illegal amounts of cocaine along with two others. Khan then claimed that he had attempted to buy only one gram of cocaine, while the Narcotics Control Bureau alleged that nine-gram of the substance was found from Khan and others.
