Gangs of Wasseypur (Part I and II)
Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur based upon politico-coal mafia nexus of Dhanbad is reportedly inspired from the story of Jharkhand politician Suryadev Singh, Binod Singh and Sakeldeo Singh who was convicted of murder.
Gangs of Wasseypur Part I and II, will screen in a non-competitive section in 65th Cannes Film Festival. -

Peddlers
Vasan Bala's Peddlers is a character-driven thriller about two parallel love stories - one about a cop and his married neighbour and the other of a girl on a mission and an aimless guy.
The movie will be representing India at the 51st edition of Cannes Critics' Week, and will compete for Camera d'Or at cinematic jamboree. -
