Every day thousands of cine fanciers with glittery dreams of making it to showbiz arena steps in the aisles of tinsel town, but it's only a few who have the stars favouring them.
Even for those who succeed in making it to celluloid, getting a break on the big screen is not an assurance of secure future in the showbiz arena.
So to prove the point, let's have a look at some of the cine hotties who made it to silver screen amid a lot of verve, but ultimately emerged as one movie wonders of Bollywood. -
Bhumika Chawla
Bhumika got her first cine break opposite none other than Dabangg of Bollywood, Salman Khan in the movie Tere Naam. In spite of being the female lead of one of the biggest hits of 2003, Bhumika could not prove her mettle in Bollywood.
Later on she appeared in a few more cine flicks like Run, Silsilay, Dil Jo Bhi Kahay, but all of them met the same disastrous fate and this elegant beauty had to take a safe exit to south. -
Sneha Ullal
Sneha Ullal primarily shot into prominence because of her drastic resemblance with Ash. When Sneha made her debut with cine flick Lucky, she was speculated to be the next super star of the Bollywood, but as it is said that destinies change every Friday in cine arena. Later on this damsel was also seen struggling to carve a niche for herself in Bollywood.
So following the footsteps of Bhumika, Sneha too preferred to board a flight to Kollywood and said a goodbye to tinsel town. -
Jiah Khan
With her sultry appearance in RGV's Nishabd Jiah Khan became a known name among the cine junkies. In the movie she played a 16-year-old lass in love with a 60-year-old man played by Big-B.
But post Nishabd things nosedived for Jiah, who still seems to struggling to make her presence feel in Bollywood. -
Tanish Mukherji
B-Town hottie who in spite of being from the lineage of adroit actresses could not make it to the hearts of cine fans is Tanisha.
Tanisha first appeared in YRF's cine flick Neal and Niki opposite Uday Chopra but could not appeal the cine fanciers. -
Nargis Fakhri
Another hottie who seems to qualifying for the one movie wonder league of Bollywood is Rockstar girl Nargis Fakhri.
If reports are to be believed then Nargis don't have any major cine project in her hands and the one she had opposite Khiladi Kumar Akshay, has also slipped out of the grip of this gorgeous damsel. -
Gracy Singh
Post here small screen jaunt, bubbly beauty Gracy Singh made her first full fledged cine appearance in cult movies Lagaan, which was one of the block busters of all times. After Lagaan Gracy was seen in a major role in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S which again was a huge hit.
But despite having two blockbusters hits in her kitty, Gracy could not succeed in appealing the masses and because of larger than life persona of male leads in both the cine flicks Lagaan and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S her performance went unnoticed. -
Gayatri Joshi
Gaytri made her debut in an unconventional cine saga Swades opposite SRK. Though the movie never made it to the league of commercially hits but somewhat managed to appeal the critics lobby.
Due to the low commercial outreach of movie Gaytri too failed in emerging as a known name among the cine fans.
Later on Gaytri was seen endorsing a few brands, but was never seen on the silver screen again. -
Bhagyashree
When Bhagyashree made it celluloid with Maine Pya Kiya opposite Salman, the destiny blessed the lady with an overnight stardom. But later on this elegant beauty of 90s could not carry forward the momentum and turned out to be a one movie wonder.
Reports even suggest that post her stepping into the limelight, Bhagyashree insisted upon being casted opposite her husband Himalaya only, a condition most directors were unwilling to go ahead with. -
Yukta Mookhey
Just like her predecessors like Aish and Sush, Yukta also emerged as one of the most sought after beauty from the beauty contest rostrum.
Yukta too stepped into the showbiz arena with cine flick Pyasaa but could not fetch any accolades from the cine fans.
