So here are a few of the hotties of the glamour aisles who inspite of getting some very good opportunities to debut with are still struggling to carve a niche in Bollywood. -
Sonam Kapoor
When Sonam debuted with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya, it was widely believed that post Saanwariya, Sonam and Ranbir will overnight turn into stars.
But destiny had something else in its womb for this fashionista, who inspite of working with directors like K.Jo, Anees Bazmee and Abbas Mustan in her later flicks could not prove her acting potential. -
Trisha
Despite being adjudged as Superstar of tomorrow by Stardust on her debut opposite Khiladi Kumar Akshay in cine flick Khatta Meetha, Trisha could not make it to the hearts of Bollywood.
And hence preferred to go ahead with her southern cine ventures with a hope of getting some good Bollywood script in future. -
Sameera Reddy
Sam's Bollywood jaunt began with a disaster where she starred opposite Sohail Khan in cine flick, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya which did badly on BO.
But inspite of that, her association with Khans fetched some good offers for this southern siren and she went on to do movies like Darna Mana Hai, Taxi No 9211 and Race, but of no use because, Sam is still far away from the league of industry A-graders. -
Monica Dogra
Singer turned actress Monica Dogra made her debut with one of the most hyped cine venture Dhobi Ghat. But unfortunately she could not succeed in pleasing the audience inspite of being under the patronage of Mr Perfectionist Aamir.
If recent reports are to be believed then currently Monica is working in Bejoy Nambiar's upcoming cine flick David, where she has a limited scope to prove her acting dexterity. -
Shahzahn Padamsee
One thing which is for sure about Shahzahn is that, she has got a persona which is good enough to leave fans mesmerised. But inspite of that, Shahzahn miserably failed in impressing the fans in her debut flick Rocket Singh Salesman of the Year opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
Post that she was seen in Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji (again a flop). Later on she had been the part of Sajid Khan's Housefull-2 with nothing much to do. -
Parvathy Omanakuttan
This ex-Miss India jumped into the bandwagon of beauty queens joining Bollywood only to fail miserably with cine flick United Six.
Later on Parvathy opted for a safe resort by heading to southern cinema.
