The Beginning
Soon after returning from US, where she had been to pursue a degree in Media and Journalism, Priya worked in several commercials including Nutrine Maha Lacto and Cadbury Dairy Milk.
Reports even suggest that, at one point of time in her life Priya aspired to learn the technical aspects of film making, but never imagined that she would become an actress someday.

Initially Priya was supposed to debut with Tamil film 'Pugaippadam', but since the release of the movie got postponed until 2010, thus making Tamil action-thriller 'Vaamanan' to be her debut flick.
