Amy Adams's bold role in `American Hustle` helped her bag the award for best actress in motion picture-comedy or musical at the 71st Golden Globe Awards held in Beverly Hills here Sunday evening.
She had once described her character Sydney Prosser as `really strong` and `kind of crazy`.
Her co-star Jennifer Lawrence also won an award at the 71st Golden Globe Awards.
The other nominees included Meryl Streep and Greta Gerwig.
