Chris Martin has rebuffed rumors that he cheated on his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow with a TV assistant before their split.

A source had earlier told the New York Post that the 37-year-old singer, who appeared on the show 'Saturday Night Live' in 2011, met an unnamed assistant backstage and was openly flirting with her at a post show after-party.

But the spokesman of the Coldplay frontman has denied the rumours, saying that they were completely untrue. The couple recently parted ways after a decade of marriage and two children together.
