American country singer Miranda Lambert enjoys leading a `normal` life, away from spotlight, with her husband Blake Shelton.

Lambert and Shelton live in Tishomingo, a small town in Oklahoma when not working, and the 30-year-old singer, who starts her days by looking after her animals, loves the `slow` pace out of the spotlight.

''I love the slow pace, the normalcy that it gives me,` contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

The `Automatic` singer was previously known for being outspoken, but she is happy that she has now `calmed down`, and is able to show new sides to her personality.

`With success, I've been able to sort of calm that down and go, 'Okay, I don't have to be guns a-blazin' all the time. People are listening, so I can open up my softer side and show people who the whole Miranda is.' I have this other side. I love pink and puppies, too,` said Lambert.
