Hollywood star Bruce Willis reportedly stunned onlookers, when at a recent party he jokingly asked a woman if she was free for sex.

The actor was enjoying a night out with friends at an exclusive bash at the lavish Roosevelt Hotel in New York, when he asked the unknown woman, "What are your plans for sex tonight?"

According to sources, the woman got extremely angry at his proposition.

Willis' lawyer Marty Singer, however, defended his client insisting that he was only joking, and didn't really want to bed her.

"Bruce was joking around with some friends and talking about pick-up lines. One remembered an old line Bruce used to use. The friend said the line and Bruce may have repeated it but he wasn't trying to pick up the woman," femalefirst quoted him as saying.
