Women plagued by 200 orgasms a day
Dozens of women claim they are suffering from a condition that makes them have hundreds of orgasms every day.

They have an embarrassing condition identified by researchers as persistent sexual arousal syndrome.

But researchers at Boston University's Institute of Sexual Medicine say that far from being a pleasure, Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome can make life insufferable.

One, a 71-year-old, Lila, told how everything from dinner parties and car journeys to just sitting on the sofa was torture.

She moaned, “It’s just a horror. This never stops, it never lets up. It colours your whole life.”

Lila said she often had 200 small orgasms a day since undergoing brain and bladder surgery four years ago.

American sufferer Jean, 51, told that when she told her gynaecologist he said, "You're every man's dream."

Office manager Jean stormed, “I wanted to punch him. I looked him in the face and said, ‘How would you like to walk around on the verge of orgasm every second?’ And he shut up.”

Up to 200 small orgasms may be experienced in a typical day. Researchers believe there is also a male version of the complaint called priapism.
