In an unusual relationship story from Uttar Pradesh, a man reportedly tracked down his wife after she left home with her lover — but instead of forcing her to return, he helped the couple get married.

The incident reportedly took place in Lucknow and involved a Provincial Rakshak Dal (PRD) jawan. According to the report, his wife left their home and went to Hardoi with her former lover.

Her disappearance led the family to approach the police. The woman and the man were subsequently traced and brought back.

However, the situation took an unexpected turn when the woman reportedly refused to return to her husband. She allegedly made it clear that she wanted to stay with her former lover.

According to the report, the woman and her lover had known each other from their school days and had been in a relationship before her marriage. The relationship reportedly continued even after she married the PRD jawan.

When it became clear that she did not want to continue her marriage, her husband reportedly decided to respect her choice. Rather than forcing her to return or turning the matter into a confrontation, he agreed to help her marry the man she wanted to be with.

The woman and her lover subsequently got married at a local temple following Hindu rituals. They reportedly exchanged garlands and took seven rounds around the sacred fire.

The husband then reportedly allowed his wife to leave with her new husband.

The unusual incident has attracted attention because of the husband's unexpected response. In situations involving marital disputes and extramarital relationships, families often find themselves embroiled in prolonged conflicts. In this case, however, the husband reportedly chose to accept his wife's decision and facilitate her marriage to her former lover.
