There are several heroes in Bollywood, who have made the Sardar look very sexy. Let's take a look at who these superstar Sardars are...

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir today, is the hottest property going around the Mumbai filmdom and whatever he does is sure to turn into gold.

So when he opted for the Sardar look in Rocket Singh-Salesman of the Year, the producers and the distributors were not arguing.

Ranbir's portayl of a sweetly sexy sardaar in the film, got him a whole lot of swoons!

Saif Ali Khan

What a perfect portrayal of the love-lorn, romantic Sardar Saif gave in Love Aaj Kal! He had all the nuances right, down to the way he rode the cycle silently after his beloved riding in the rickshaw!

Even his moves in the dance sequence Aahun Aahun were just perfect! Really, he was terrific in his Sardar portrayal!

Akshay Kumar

Akshay really made the Singh into the proverbial King in his Super-Hit Singh Is Kinng! He so enjoyed the performance that he had the whole nation rocking with him.

Of course that he looked in great shape didn't hurt matters. The styled look that he was given in the film made him a youth icon!

Salman Khan

Since portraying a Sardar was all in rage, how could our own Sallu Mian be far behind?

He jumped into the bandwagon, grew a beard, donned a turban and became a cute looking sardar for thr multi-starrer film, Heroes.

No one can doubt his credentials as the true Punjab da puttar! Sunny embodies the patriotic sardar.

Can you forget him belting out nationalistic lines in Gadar or willingly dying for the country in Border.

Boman Irani

He was the villainous Sardar in Lage Raho Munnabhai, who was super smooth in his shady dealings but finally was killed with kindness.

Really, an over the top performance by Boman, but appealing in the shades that he explored. Nowhere does he allow the character to lapse into a caricature.
