Celebs Banned From Sex

Celebs Banned From Sex

Hot, steamy, sexy celebs, known for their libido, and they are not allowed to have sex? Seems a bit incongruous, doesn't it? So, we figured there must be very good reasons why they are on an abstinence trip. Let's check 'em out!

Cheryl Cole

Pop star Cheryl Cole (The Girls Aloud) filed for divorce earlier this year from her cheating soccer hubby, Ashley Cole, and just this month she contracted a virulent form of malaria after a trip to Tanzania. Now doctors have banned Cole from sex and booze while she's getting better.

Katie Price

Katie Price aka apparently put her ex-husband Peter Andre on a four-month sex ban while she was busy training for the London Marathon and horseback riding. Well, seems Andre lost his patience waiting and the sex ban contributed to their divorce.

Britney Spears

A few years ago, during Britney Spears' 'crazy period,' Jamie and Lynne Spears Britney's parents) allegedly imposed a six-month sex ban on the pop star. The parents claimed her choices in men were harming her mental health (probably true) and preached temporary abstinence.

'Their worst nightmare is that she gets involved with someone else who's just trying to use her for her money or to further their own career,'

Posh and David Beckham

They may be the hottest couple in the world, but even they cool it down sometimes. The couple reportedly put sex on the back burner for three months while David Beckham was forced to wear an Aircast boot after an operation on his Achilles tendon.

He had to lie flat on his back in bed and not move, otherwise he could cause further damage.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga's is a self imposed ban on herself and the dancers on her tour! 'She wants them to give 100 percent on stage so she doesn't want them wasting energy on bedtime action,' a source said.

'In saucy routines during the show she pretends to have sex with some of the dancers and wants these bits to look as real as possible.'

Matthew McConaughey

But after the birth of their second child, McConaughey's girlfriend Camila Alves told the press she placed a Do Not Enter sign over her baby tunnel for the next 40 days.

'Where I come from [Brazil], we believe in something we call a 40-day break after the baby,' Alves said. 'By that I mean no sex, light, healthy food, no trips to the gym. Then, after 40 days, you are good to go.'

Tiger Woods

Maybe because he's been overdoing it? If anyone needs a time-out from sex, it's Tiger Woods. When the golfer entered a rehab clinic for his 'sex addiction,' he was allegedly forced to sign a celibacy treatment for 18 weeks of treatment, plus another 90 days after he was discharged. Tough times for Tiger!
