Sizzling Item Girls of 2011

Sizzling Item Girls of 2011

It is no more the territory of non-actors, all the actresses are now grooving happily on item numbers. Here's a recap of the most sizzling performances as item girls, by these actresses, in 2011.

Deepika Padukone

Hands down the hottest avatar of Deepika Padukone, so far, was in 'Dum Maro Dum'. The leggy lass danced uninhibitedly on the classic number Mit Jaye Ghum.

The lyrics were bold nad Deepika was sizzling in a white micro-mini, a tattoo on waist and oodles of dum!

Katrina Kaif

Kat did an item song to promote 'good friend' Salman's movie 'Bodyguard'. The song aaya re bodyguard, had Kat dancing with hundreds of Bodyguards, and ofcourse Salman himself, in a black ghagra choli.

Although the effort was to recreate magic of Sheila, but we think this one lacked that spunk.

Mallika Sherawat

Madam Sherawat, who was last seen in the disastrous 'Hisss', decided to make up for that blunder by giving competition to Munni and Sheila. She gave us not one, not two but three item songs in one year.

Razia gundon mein phas gayi (Thank You), Shalu Ke Thumke (Bin Bulaaye Baraati) and Jalebi Bai (Double Dhamaal). Not quite there, but we loved her twisting pelvic in 'Jalebi Bai'.

Lisa Haydon

Hot hot hot! This ramp model shook the dance floor in Shake It Sayyian (Rascals) like nobody's business! Amazing moves and a superb song.

Yana Gupta

The 'Babuji' girl is back to what she does the best, doing item numbers. And while she was at it, she did two in a row.

A Zara Kareeb Se in 'Murder 2' was so raunchy that it wasn't even allowed to be promoted on TV, while Laila main laila in 'Chalo Dilli' made everybody jig with her, once again.

Shweta Tiwari

The under-dog bahu of Telivision, turned into a big-screen hottie this year. Shweta Tiwari appeared in two item songs - Dil Ka Achaar (Bin Bulaye Baraati) and Katto Gilehri (Miley Na Miley Hum).

With a svelte figure, sexy thumkaas and a rustic appeal, Shweta was certainly giving all item girls a run for their money.

Sarah Jane Dias

Ex Miss India World, Sarah Jane Dias, not only made her acting debut in 'Game' opposite Abhishek Bachchan, but also did her first item song called Mehki Mehki.

And she did this seductive number with finnesse, looking super hot in black corset, fishnet leggings and red lips!
