Miley Cyrus Gets Too Raunchy

Parents in the US have slammed Miley Cyrus' raunchy new video and accused her of turning her back on young fans.

Flashes her pants

The 17-year-old star flashes her pants and is seen blindfolded and writhing on the bed in the sexually charged promo for Who Owns My Heart?

Ban the Teen Queen

Now powerful lobby group the Parents' Television Council have condemned the message it sends to her teenage fans.

The accusation

'It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualized video like this one.It sends messages to her fan base that are diametrically opposed to everything she has done up to this point.

Distancing herself from fans?

'Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fan base so rapidly.'

Not the first time

It's not the first time the Hannah Montana star has courted controversy. She hit the headlines in May after footage of her pole-dancing in a night club surfaced on the internet.
