Amid the pandemic, theatres in India are still opened with 50% occupancy and the OTT platforms remain the only option for entertainment right now. January is likely to be a big month with several big names set to make their digital debut which includes, Said Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal, Kajol, and many more. So with this, let's have a look at the list of films and web-series which are going to entertain you this January 2021.

Bullets - MX Player

Devang Dholakia's masala thriller stars Sunny Leone, Karishma Tanna, Deepak Tijori, Viveck Vaswani, Amaan F Khan, Taaha Shah and Mohan Kapur in prominent roles. The mini-series revolves around the lives of Tina and Lolo who are bold, badass and brave girls and find themselves on a mission to thwart an illegal arm weapons deal between two countries. The series will premier on January 8, 2020, on MX Player.

Gullak season 2 - SonyLIV

The Mishra family is back with its heartwarming story with Gullak season 2. The series stars Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Sunita Rajwar Harsh Mayar, and Vaibhav Raj Gupta in lead roles. It will premiere on the OTT platform on January 15. The first season of Gullak premiered in June 2019 on SonyLIV.

Jeet Ki Zid - ZEE5

'Jeet Ki Zid' an original series inspired by the life of Major Deependra Singh Sengar. A true story of a real-life Kargil hero with a wilful journey that celebrates his conviction and his ups and downs. Vishal Mangalorkar's series stars Amit Sadh as the protagonist, Amrita Puri, and Sushant Singh. 'Jeet Ki Zid' is slated to premiere on 22nd January on ZEE5.

Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi - Theatres

Seema Pahwa's satirical family drama film 'Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi' showcases the family's differences, politics, & insecurities between the family members. The film stars an ensemble cast of Konkona Sen Sharma, Parambrata Chatterjee, Vinay Pathak, Naseeruddin Shah, Supriya Pathak, Vikrant Massey, Manoj Pahwa, Vineet Kumar and Manoj Pahwa. The film was released on January 1, 2021, in the cinema halls.

Nail Polish - ZEE5

Bugs Bhargava Krishna's crime-thriller 'Nail Polish' stars Arjun Rampal, Manav Kaul, Anand Tiwari, and Rajit Kapur. It's a legal thriller that explores the uncertainty of the human mind. The film is not less than any gripping tale of the hideous crime, psychological thriller. Nail Polish is also a perfect amalgamation of top-notch acting of Manav, Anand, Arjun. The film was released on January 1, 2021, and is available on ZEE5.

Kaagaz - ZEE5

5. Satish Kaushik's biographical drama, 'Kaagaz' stars Pankaj Tripathi and Monal Gajjar with Amar Upadhyay who plays the main antagonist. The film revolves around Lal Bihari, a farmer who is declared dead in the Government records. It will premiere on 7 January 2021 on ZEE5.

Tribhanga- Netflix

'Tribhanga - Tedhi Medhi Crazy' is a social issue drama film set in Mumbai. Renuka Shahane's film stars Kajol, Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar in the leading roles. The film revolves around the lives of three women from the same family, belonging to different generations. The film will release on January 15, 2021, on Netflix.

The White Tiger - Netflix

Netflix's drama film, 'The White Tiger' is one of the biggest releases on the OTT in 2021 and is based on the novel of the same name by Indian author Aravind Adiga. The film is directed by Ramin Bahrani, who previously helmed 'Fahrenheit 451' for HBO, '99 Homes', 'At Any Price' and other projects. The film stars Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. The film is all set for its digital release on January 22nd, 2021 on Netflix.

WandaVision - Disney plus Hotstar

WandaVision is an American television miniseries created by Jac Schaeffer for the streaming service Disney plus. The series is based on the Marvel Comics characters Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch and Vision. Matt Shakman's series stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their respective roles. It is scheduled to premiere on January 15, 2021, on Disney plus Hotstar and will consist of six episodes.

Ali Abbas Zafar's political drama stars Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Sunil Grover, Kritika Kamra, Sarah Jane Dias.
