Famous Celebrity Deaths Which Shocked the world!

As we are still in shock and trying hard to recover from the untimely demise of legendary and versatile actress Sridevi, who passed away due to cardiac arrest in Dubai on 24th February 2018. We take a look at the death of other famous celebrities who shocked the world. Take a look:

Priya Rajvansh

Priya Rajvansh is one of the most beautiful and underrated actresses from Bollywood who acted in films like 'Heer Ranjha' and 'Hanste Zakhm' in the 70s. She was found murdered in 2000 but the case was initially written off as a suicide. It was only later established that she had been killed by her late husband Chetan Anand's children and two other accomplices for the property.

Geeta Bali

Geeta Bali, wife of Shammi Kapoor died at a very young age of 36. During her shoot for the Punjabi movie 'Rano', she contacted the dreaded disease, smallpox, from which she easily could have vaccinated herself from. She was rushed back to Mumbai for her treatment. But death overshadowed her life.

Soundarya

South actress, Soundarya died in a plane crash near Bangalore in 2004. After having acted in more than 100 films, Soundarya had started producing films in the south. The beautiful actress was only 32 when she passed away.

Aarthi Aggarwal

Telugu actress Aarthi Agarwal passed away after her health deteriorated following a liposuction surgery. The 31-year-old had reportedly gone to the US for the liposuction surgery and complications following it resulted in her death.

Kishore Kumar

In October 1987, a singer who was literally worshipped by many Kishore Da died following a massive heart attack. He had been married four times and is survived by his two sons Amit Kumar and Sumit Kumar.

Gulshan Kumar

'Cassette King' Gulshan Kumar, the founder of the T-Series music label (Super Cassettes Industries Ltd.), was killed outside the Jeeteshwar Mahadev Mandir, a Hindu temple in Jeet Nagar, Andheri West suburb of Mumbai on August 12, 1997. The police accused Nadeem of the music duo Nadeem-Shravan of having paid for the assassination. However, on January 9, 2001, Abdul Rauf (known as 'Raja') confessed to being the assassin. Rauf was sentenced to life imprisonment for the crime.

Sanjeev Kumar

One of the most talented Bollywood actors, Sanjeev Kumar made his debut in Hum Hindustani in 1960 and never looked back. His most memorable films include Aandhi, Mausam, Angoor, Namkeen, Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Sholay, and Trishul. In 1985, when he was 47 years old, he died of a heart ailment. Ironically for an actor who played many elderly roles, he did not live to the age of 50.

Smita Patil

Aged only 31, barely 6 hours after having given birth to her son, Prateek Babbar, she died. It was also said that she died due to medical negligence.

Jiah Khan

Jiah reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her Juhu apartment in Mumbai on June 3, 2013. A six-page suicide note was found by her sister in the house four days later which mentioned that Jiah reportedly got an abortion.

Divya Bharti

Indian actress, famous for her role in Deewana fell from the window of her fifth-floor apartment on April 5, 1993. She subsequently died in hospital. Some people say that it was a suicide while some guessed that it was an accident. In 1998, the investigation of this case was stopped terming the death to be 'accidental'.
