Fashionista Sonam & Her Controversies !

While Sonam and Shahid's much awaited love saga Mausam has been postponed to be released on 23rd now, we bring to you the female lead's tryst in Bollywood so far.

It's been quite an interesting ride for this fashion queen who minces no words while speaking her mind, which has often landed her in trouble!

Aishwarya Aunty !

Taking a dig at the 35 year old actress Sonam had started calling Aishwarya 'Aunty Ji'. And here's her reason : 'Ash has worked with my dad so I have to call her Aunty na?'

Sonam had said that she is the youth face of L'Oreal in India while Aishwarya appeals to the older women. Aishwarya did not take this dig at her age lying down and made sure Sonam Kapoor did not make it to Cannes and walk the Red Carpet along with her.

Fossil Shobha - The Porn writer

Sonam couldn't control her reaction to Shobhaa's comments twice, but had to later apologise for both.

Shobhaa (On Sonam's shoot): 'Sonam just doesn't cut it in the sex appeal stakes.'
Sonam: 'for a 60-something porn writer, I am sure she (Shobha) knows what she's talking about.'

Shobhaa (on I hate Luv Storys): I Hate Dumb Storys...
Sonam: Guys pls don't take Shobha De seriuosly. She's a fossil who's getting no action and going through menopause.

Ouch! Not easy to mess with De Sonam !

Not So Sexy - Ranbir

Sonam took potshots at Ranbir with Deepika on 'Koffee With Karan'. Here's what she said:

Ranbir is not sexy unless he sheds all his clothes.
Ranbir is not a god boyfriend material; I wonder how Deepika held on to him for so long.
Ranbir needs a stylist.

She had to face Rishi Kapoor's ire for bad mouthing his son on national Televisdion.

Gay For Kareena

Sonam Kapoor has gone on record to say that she wouldn't mind turning 'gay' for Kareena. Later on had to keep clarifying her statement, lest people start having wrong ideas about her sexuality!

Relationship Status

Sonam has always denied speaking about her personal life in front of media. But rumours are rife that she is dating her I HATE LUV STORY's director Punit Malhotra. None of them ever confirmed but media keeps speculating.

Mausam

After a series of verbal spats, we believe Sonam has come of age and watches what she speaks now.

Meanwile, we look forward to her love saga Mausam with Shahid Kapur in which she plays a Kashmir Girl (Aayat) who falls in love with a Punjabi boy (Harry) and how their love story evolves in 10 years. The movie looks very romantic and promising.
