With so many songs decorated with double meaning and gawky lyrics, it looks like double entendre is the new found spice for Bollywood's music genre.
Well it's not that the double entendre has entered Bollywood just now, it prevailed earlier also in songs like 'Teri le Loon' from the movie of 80s Tere Mere Bich Mein and controversial 'Choli ke Piche Kya hai' from cine flick Khalnayak, but now the frequency of evolution of such songs seems to be overpowering the Bollywood's musical notes.
So let's have a look at some of the recently released songs for which their double entendre content proved a boon.
The newest entrant which is making fans dance to its tunes is 'Second Hand Jawani' from upcoming cine flick Cocktail.
With leggy beauty DP and Diana Penty featured along with Saif, the movie has got some quirky lyrics 'Bhanwaron ke college ka main professor hu baby, aiyyashi ke computer ka processor hu baby.'
So with Cocktail all set to release let's see if second hand Jawani can emerge as one of the USPs of movie.
With a high dose of gaucherie in them songs, 'I am a hunter' and 'O Womaniya' left all the prior set examples far behind in the league.
With gawky lyrics which goes like , 'I am a hunter and she wants to see my gun, when I pull it out boy, the woman starts to run' and 'Maange jo babuna prem nisaniya, bole jo thodi katiho kaniya', Anurag Kashyap has raised the bar tremendously for the music sorcerers to meet.
The directorial cine flick of Prabhu Deva Rowdy Rathore performed beyond the expectations on BO. With nearly all the configured components clicking for the Rowdy Rathore, the music front too fared well among the cine buffs.
Much adored and otherwise peppy and well choreographed song 'Aa Re Pritam Pyaare' of Rowdy Rathore also went viral among dance enthusiasts with some gawky phrases stating 'Pallu ke neeche chhupa ke rakha hai, utha dun toh hungama ho.'
Another song whose double meaning lyrics which pushed the limits of gaucherie in music genre is 'Bitto Sabki Lega' from the movie Bittoo Boss.
The lyrics of the song were knitted with so much perspicacity that inspite of saying so much, the song the somewhere fell in the purview of acceptability.
One of the most memorable songs with a huge dose of double entendre which will always remain immortalised in the memories of cine buffs is 'D.K.Bose' from the the movie Delhi Belly.
As soon as the song was released it went viral among the youth brigade and even landed up in a controversy with Censor.
