Priyanka Chopra to Model for GUESS

It looks like from the past few it looks like Priyanka has developed a special fascination to bring a spectrum of laurels for Indian showbiz.

Guess who is signed on?

Piggy Chops is the first Indian model to get signed on by Guess.

Photographer says

'I knew instantly that I wanted to photograph her for Guess,' Paul Marciano, a founder of the company, wrote in an email, referring to his first meeting with Ms. Chopra last spring.

Why Priyanka?

Her natural charisma and that she is one of the most recognized and celebrated talents in India and international cinema factored into Guess's decision to cast her in its campaign.

Says Priyanka...

'For me, the proudest thing about it was being someone of ethnicity to break the quintessential bombshell mode. That girl has changed. She can be from anywhere.'

An Album for PC

Ms. Chopra is also making a pop music album with RedOne, a producer who's worked with Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj.

The 'Exotic' Girl

Already, she's put out 'Exotic,' a Miami Beach-appropriate ditty with the rapper Pitbull.

The Video

The music video, in which PC shimmies and shakes in a half-dozen sequined, strappy outfits, has been viewed more than 30 million times on YouTube.
