Is Parineeti Getting Typecast?

When Piggy Chops younger sis Parineeti made her Bollywood debut it was widely believed that she has got ample potential to prove her mettle in cine-biz.

But with the passage of time and her choice of roles it looks like this otherwise talented diva is getting typecasted as a firebrand babe who can only look good in somewhat aggressive roles.

So in order to endorse our words check out our observations about Parineeti.

Dimple Chadda - Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl

When Parineeti made her onscreen appearance in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl as loud mouthed Dimple Chadda, she at once grabbed the gazes of the masses in spite of the presence of other hotties like Anushka, Dipannita and Aditi.

This somewhat bold and courageous yet bubbly character of Parineeti not only fetched her accolades but also helped her in bagging Filmfare's best debutant award.

Zoya Qureshi - Ishaqzaade

Remember the rowdy Zoya of Ishaqzaade, who use to love the guns.

Although while performing this character Parineeti was decorated with numerous goodies, but even this character of Parineeti was no different from her previous cine stint and was rather a magnified version of that.

Gaytri - Shuddh Desi Romance

Now if we go by the newest cine stint of Parineeti i.e. Shuddh Desi Romance where she is playing the character of Gaytri, then even there she seems to be in the robe of small town fire brand girl who own a 'I don't give it a damn' kinda of attitude.

There is no denying the fact that it's always a kind of challenge for a pretty faced diva to play such rowdy character, but at the same time we also can't deny the universal truth that, 'excess of every thing is bad'.

Ray of Hope - Hasee Toh Fasee

If buzz has anything to do with the fact then in her next PC Jr will be seen opposite Sidharth Malhotra in Karan Johar's Hasee Toh Fasee.

So let's hope that Hasee Toh Fasee we get an opportunity to see Parineeti in a different avatar.
