Salman, 49, took to Twitter to say that he was touched by SRK and Aamir's gesture.
"Thanking sharukh an amir for the 1st look of bajrangi bhaijaan. V touched n extremely happy. God's give them n thr fans all the happiness (sic)," Salman tweeted.
The fans were in for a surprise when SRK, who had an infamous fall-out with Salman in 2008, revealed the actor's look from the Kabir Khan-directed film to his 13.2 million followers, indicating that they were back to being "Karan Arjun" in real-life.
"I believe Being a brother is bigger than being a Hero. 'Bhaijaan' coming Eid 2015. How do u like the first look?" Shah Rukh Khan, 49, had tweeted.
Aamir, whose Twitter outings are rare, followed Shah Rukh by posting the photo of a rugged-looking Salman from the movie captioning it with "Coming soon."
Aamir, 50, and Salman have remained friends since starring together in "Andaz Apna Apna" but there was a time when the "PK" star fuelled speculations that he was not on good terms with SRK, though the two stars never acknowledged it in public.
