Ladakh is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque destinations in India. And Divya Khosla Kumar is a sharp director who has consistently promoted Indian destinations through her movies in order to show the beauty that India has to offer. This is evident with her shooting her upcoming movie, Sanam Re in breath taking locales such as Kalpa near Shimla and most recently, Pangong Lake, Ladakh.

Speaking on the experience of shooting in Ladakh where her entire unit stayed for three days in close to zero degrees in tents, Divya says that "India has so much to offer in terms of raw untouched beauty. It was in Ladakh where Yashji shot a part of his last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan and there are no words to describe the feeling of shooting for Sanam Re there. Shooting as a unit under such extreme temperatures bonds the entire cast and crew together and highlights the passion of all the people working in and for Sanam Re."


Divya is all set for a Valentine's Day release in February 2016 for Sanam Re starring Rishi Kapoor, Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela. High res images of the shoot in Ladakh are attached with this email.
