Happy Anniversary Hrithik and Suzzane! The couple completed a year of wedded bliss. A gala bash was held at the Mariott Hotel Juhu to ring in the special day. Guests right from the Bachchans to the Khans made their presence felt at the occassion. But the one conspicuous by her absence was Kareena Kapoor. Freinds and relatives whispered in hush-hush tones whether she would arrive at all! Wish Hrithik and Suzzane she did by sending across a huge bouquet of flowers and card wishing them love and luck for life.

Shy Hrithik admitted that it was only after marriage did he realize what love was all about though he knew Suzzane right since his school days. Suzzane said the year has been the best year of her life. "I could not have asked for anything better," she said. Hrithik had a mixed year with highs and lows at the same time. On one hand he won numerous awards for his debut film Kaho Naa Pyar Hai and a huge fan turnout at his wedding at a Bangalore resort. While on the other hand, he had no super hits to substantiate his stardom. Yaadien failed to evoke too many emotions while Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham is a super duper hit which leaves Hrithik with a piece in the credit cake.

Though Hrithik hasn`t been able to be with Suzzane as a newly married husband should be what with busy shooting schedules tying him down, Suzzane has been patient with him. That`s sweet isn`t it!
