Ranbir Kapoor, who's currently going through a rough patch in his career, seems to be in no hurry to take up new projects. Industry sources suggest the actor is still reeling under the debacle of 'Bombay Velvet' and is being wary before signing any project now.
A source says, "It's been quite a while that he delivered a box-office hit. So, he has decided not to take up any film this year other than those he has already committed himself to. He wants to take some time off for introspection."
Among Ranbir's upcoming films for 2015 is Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha', slated to hit the theatres in November. Then there's Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos' with ladylove Katrina Kaif (some portions of the film are apparently being reshot), and Karan Johar's 'Aye Dil Hai Mushkil' that will go on floors by this year-end.
A source close to the actor says, "Yes, Ranbir wants to take it slow and do some good cinema. He doesn't want to sign more movies than he can handle and end up disappointing his fans. He has also sought some career advice from his close friends in the industry."
