Karan Johar's 'Shhuddhi' shelved?

Trade sources say that Karan Johar's reincarnation filmShhuddhimay be shelved. This Karan Malhotra directorial, that was to originally star Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, went through several casting changes.

Post Hrithik, the film was meant to have Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, and most recently, it was said that it would go on floors with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt as his leading lady.

It was also slated for a Diwali release in 2016. However,now we hear that the project is not taking off due to reasons best known to the makers.

When asked about Shhuddhi during one of hisBaahubalipress conference appearances, Johar joked, "Shhuddhihas already completed three years in the making. It has crossed the making of Baahubaliwithout being made. It's a new kind of history. I will discussShhuddhiwhen I have something to show."
