While the close friends and relatives confirmed with mid-day that he is critical but still battling with the disease, within two hours, the authorities from the hospital confirmed about his death. "Mr Aadesh Shrivastava 51-years-old expired at 12.30 am on September 5, 2015 in Kokilaben Hospital," said Dr Ram Narain, Executive Director, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital through an sms.

His brother-in-law and music composer Lalit Pandit, from the Jatin-Lalit duo, confirmed the news to IANS over a text message.
