/> Some Bollywood personalities like Aftab Shivdasani and Hansal Mehta say each day is Mother's Day. Others like Rani Mukerji and Raveena Tandon celebrate it to make their mothers feel extra special.

Rani Mukherjee: "I'm gifting my mom with a big renovated house. Fathers are as specials as mothers. But because we come from the mother's womb, it's another feeling altogether. The mom-child relationship is incomparable with anything else in the world. Me and dad are very much alike. I fight with my mom all the time.

But I can't do without her. She can kill for her child. I'll understand that feeling only when I've my own child. My brother and I tell our mom to give us a break. But when she really goes away we beg her to come back. When she goes to visit her sister we're hysterical after two days.

Then it's her turn to teach us a lesson. 'You take me for granted. Now you 'll realize my value,' she teases us when beg her to come back.

Raveena Tandon: "It was my mum's birthday yesterday. So we celebrated her birthday and brought in a Mother's Day. They don't make mothers like my mom. Everyone's mother is special. But mine is extra-special.

Hansal Mehta: "My mother is the reason why I am. Every day of my life every moment of my existence, I owe to her I don't need these superficial commercial events like Mother's Day to realize how special my mother is.

I envy Sanjay Leela Bhansali when he goes up the stage to win awards. I want to win an award so that I can go up there and announce, 'This is for you, Mom!'. The pride and happiness my success will give my mother is worth more than anything else in the world."

Aftab Shivdasani: "I don't need an excuse to celebrate mother's day. Every day with my mom is a celebration. I've no specific plans with her for tom because I'm shooting."

Dino Morea: "My mom is in Bangalore. I wished her and sent her some flowers. Every day with the mother should be celebrated for who she is. But since we're given one special day, then I guess flowers and lots of love will have to do."

Apoorva Lakhia: "I see it as a day dedicated to to a person who's responsible for my existence and made untold sacrifices to make sure I succeed in life. My mom lives in New York City. I'll phone to thank her and tell her how much I love her."

Urmila Matondkar: "Mother's Day means celebrating and appreciating the best gift god has gives us. My mom is so close to me that sometimes I tend to take her for granted. I intend to write her a note and tell her this."

Farah Khan: "Good you reminded me it's mother's day. I had a tiff with her and she's sulking. Eventhough it wasn't my fault I'll buy her something nice and take her for lunch and say sorry.

I think Mother's Day is a good way of giving mom some extra attention. No matter how much we love our moms we tend to take them most for granted. I see the day as an extra birthday for my mom."

Iqbal Khan: "Mother's Day is a very important day. My mom means the world to me. I see her as selfless humanbeing who has always dreamt big dreams for me. My mom is is Kashmir. I'll call her and take her blessings. I know nothing can harm me if my mom's dua is with me."

Ekta Kapoor: "Mum and I don't need a particular day. But yes we'll have a family meal together today for sure."

Sammir Dattani: "I was shooting in Hyderabad. But I came back specially on Sunday for Mother's Day. Ours isn't a demonstrative family. We don't kiss and hug our mom. But I think she knows how special she's to me. I owe everything from my excellence in school to my trophies and awards for sports to my current career prospects to my mother."

Sikandar Berry Kher: "Since my mother is a single parent she's been a tremendous source of strength support and encouragment all her life. At her prime when when she could've been busy building her career she chose to give it all up to look after me.

I feel it was an amazing sacrifice. Even Jaya Aunty gave up her fantastic career to look after Abhishek and Shweta. It's amazing what moms can do for their children.

I was lucky to have the best of both the worlds. Although my mom got divorced when I was a kid she never kept me away from my biological Dad. He stays in Mumbai and I continue to meet him as and when I require.

In fact while other kids have one dad I've two. Anupam Dad is friend father and a guide as well. My mom has been an exemplary mother in every sense.

And I don't mind being called a mama's boy. Aren't all men mama's boys any way? Her love for me is totally unconditional. And she's such a fabulous actress. Even if I've inherited an iota of her talent my career is made."
