After launching the first trailer for the International audience last year, producer of "Titli" Dibakar Bannerjee is now launching a new trailer of the film on September 29 for the Indian audience.

Dibakar says that when he presented the trailer to a group of people in India, it did not hit the right note with them, hence he decided to come up with a new trailer meant for the Indian audiences.

"Due to the immense international success of 'Titli' our first Indian trailer was still in the shadow of the international marketing strategy, where the film was positioned as an intense, bold thriller about a bunch of car jackers who happened to be a family" Dibakar said in a statement.

"But when we showed the new cut to our focus group audiences in India, their reaction was a revelation! They said, 'this is a family film, so why is the trailer like this?'. They completely connected with the core of Kanu (Behl) and Sharat's (Katariya) story!" he added.

Sharing that the new trailer will focus on Titli (name of the main character in the film) and his family, the "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!" producer also shared that no matter how hard hitting the film was, "at its core it's a very identifiable story of a young boy coming to grips with the dynamics of his family and struggling to become a man."

"Every Indian who has a family and has to take on responsibility for it at a stage in his life, every Indian boy or girl who have quarrelled with their parents and wanted to run away, every parent exasperated by their child - will get this!" the 46-year-old added.

The film's new trailer will be co-produced by Yash Raj Films.

"Titli" marks the directorial debut of Kanu Behl, featuring newcomers Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi, Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial and Lalit Behl.

"Titli" is releasing in India on October 30.
