"It will be a hardcore action film which will commence soon after the release of 'Golmaal'," said Shetty, adding that action has always been his forte though he has attempted to do full justice to the comedy genre in "Golmaal". "The verdict is now left to the audiences," he smiled.
Arshad Warsi had said recently that he was thrilled with the way "Golmaal" had shaped up. "The comedy in the film is outstanding. I never expected it to be as funny when we started with it," Bollywood Trade quoted him as saying.
Shetty, who is better known as an action director, said: "After 'Zameen', it has become a well-known fact that my forte is strictly action, which is why there is a certain element of surprise at my having made a hilarious comedy. I will be back to doing an action film very soon."
Shetty has three other projects in the offing - one with Ashtavinayak, the second with Shemaroo and the third being produced by Ramesh Sippy, with Nana Patekar playing the central character.
"All the three are very promising projects with powerful scripts," he maintained.
