Day 73 starts with Suyyash being challenged to do a task by Keith and Nora after which the buzzer goes off and Bigg Boss ends the task, announcing that Prince had placed his bet on Suyyash and Priya.

Along with Suyyash-Priya winning the task, the housemates also win back Rs. 4 lakhs of the prize money they had lost earlier in the game. Later, Gizele brings up that Mandana spoke against Gizele's class and how this is the reason that she can never be friends with Gizele.

The next day, the housemates wake up to 'Havan Karenge' and continue with their household chores. Kishwer tells the housemates that she spotted Rishabh's facewash amongst Mandana's belongings and is sure that she has stolen it. Upon confronting Rishabh, Kishwer realises that she was right and tells him the truth.

Later in the day, Bigg Boss announces that the three pairs who have been victorious in the Baazi task - Suyyash-Priya, Rochelle-Rishabh and Mandana-Kishwer, will now get an opportunity to compete for captaincy this week. However, only three contenders can compete and the pairs will have to mutually decide whom they elect for the captaincy task and which one of them will proceed to the Double Trouble room. While Suyyash-Priya and Mandana-Kishwer quickly make their decision, Rishabh and Rochelle have a disagreement as they both want to be the next captain. This leads to a huge fight between the two and Rochelle eventually ends up crying about missing out on an opportunity to become a captain.


Owing to Rishabh and Rochelle's stubbornness about wanting to become the next captain, they fail to decide upon whom they want to elect for the captaincy task and eventually lose a chance as Bigg Boss disqualifies them. The two contenders for captaincy are handed a captain ring and they are required to hold on to the ring as long as possible. The first one to let go of the ring will lose the task and the other contender will be declared as the new captain of the house.

Meanwhile, Gizele tells Suyyash that Mandana told Priya that she wants to kick Rishabh and Gizele out of her life. She also says that Mandana had told Priya not being happy about having created a rift between Rishabh, Gizele and her. This leads to a fight between Mandana and Gizele and ends up creating differences between the two. While on the other hand, Priya claims that she did not intend upon doing that, she is extremely amazed by Mandana's reaction. Rishabh adds to Gizele's point and tells her that he would really like to see who supports Mandana in the house going forward.


In the night, Nora finds a handwritten letter on her bed but unfortunately she is unable on read it as it is written in Hindi. Prince comes to Nora's rescue and reads out the letter. Knowing that Rishabh is her Secret Santa, Nora gets upset as she feels that he did this on purpose to make fun of her and later she brings up the subject in front of the housemates. While Rochelle tries to calm the situation down, it gets even worse when Prince gets into a fight with Gizele. While trying to shut Gizele up, Nora calls her a 'background dancer'.

Later, Prince creates a misunderstanding between Priya and Rishabh by saying that Priya called Rishabh Mandana's sidekick. Priya swears on her husband and says that she did not say anything of that sorts and that Rishabh is lying.
