The 37-year-old actor, who has previously appeared in adult comedies like 'Masti' and 'Grand Masti', said they have have no intention to offend anyone from the film industry.
"We have done all the spoofs in good faith and good humour. Every spoof we have done on all the films, not just Rajshri's Mr Sooraj Barjatya's films, are light hearted and naughty. We are not trying to degrade those films. We are trying to flatter them by mimicking them," Aftab told PTI.
After the first trailer of 'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3' came out, there were reports that Barjatya was miffed with the makers of the movie for using his name and spoofing his movie 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun'.
"They (Barjatya, actors) are big stars, they are our friends, but we made sure we didn't offend anybody personally.
We have been very conscious about the fact. It is like offending your own colleague," Aftab added.
"Kya Kool Hain Hum 3" starring Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab and Mandana Karimi in lead roles revolves around two boys, who end up joining the adult film industry, but have to pretend to be sober to win the heart of the girl's family.
Directed by Umesh Ghadge, the film will hit the theatres this Friday.
