After the critical and popular success of Monsoon Wedding, Mira Nair's next film would most probably star mega-superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit.The film would be a typical Hindi mainstream film with lots of melodious songs and dances.

According to Mira Nair, it is a subject only Madhuri can do justice to and if the rumors are to be believed, Madhuri has given her nod to star in the film.Mira Nair is even thinking of casting the Big B in a grand role and if her efforts bear fruit, it would be the first time that Bachchan and Madhuri would be seen together in a film in major roles.Madhuri had a special appearance in David Dhawan's Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, which starred Bachchan.
