The upcoming film stars superstar Shah Rukh Khan and marks the second film of Shinde after her directorial debut, "English Vinglish".
"I am a 'boho-chic' (a style of fashion with bohemian and hippie influences). I like buying the little accessories, sometimes I buy boxes in which I keep jewellery...
Especially in Goa, the night flea market is beautiful. When I was shooting for Gauri Shinde's film, we went to the night flea market," Alia told reporters last evening.
The "Kapoor & Sons" star said she is not a "shopoholic" but couldn't resist going to the market in the time between her shots.
"We were shooting and in (the time) between shots, I was going and buying something, then coming back. I am not a shopoholic but I love to shop and I love clothes," she said.
Alia was speaking at the launch of a pop-up store for the underprivileged, 'The Street Store', by Anmol Jewellers, Smile Foundation and TNE.
The "Highway" actress donated clothes for the cause and said since celebrities love to shop, it is very important for them to come ahead and take part in such causes.
"We always say that we like to do shopping, especially (us) celebrities, we always want to shop. But not many people get that opportunity to go all out and buy whatever they want.
So, this is a great idea. I have donated my clothes too," she said.
