It's is payback time in Bollywood's latest Khan war episode.
How else would you describe the actions of Fardeen Khan who has reportedly walked out of a film just because it meant acting with Saif Ali Khan?
In case, you thought this was sheer childishness, this is what a Bollywood source close to Fardeen disclosed to a leading Mumbai daily on Monday.
It so happened that Dad Feroze Khan had signed up Saif Ali Khan to play Vinod Khanna's role in the remake of Qurbani (titled Kurbani). After some time, Saif opted out
citing date problems.
Stung to the quick, Fardeen Khan took this act of Saif as a personal affront and soon enough, differences came out in the open.
The source who did not want to be named revealed: "Fardeen has not taken Saif walking out of his home production very lightly. What really upset him was the fact that Saif
first committed and later opted out.
So, now Fardeen is retaliating and has gone and done the same to him. Their rivalry might not be at its peak but all is not well
between the two."
When asked to comment on the issue, Turani confirmed the move. "It is true that Fardeen is not doing the film any more. The film is expected to start in January and we
have finalised the entire cast which comprises Anil Kapoor, Mallika Sherawat, Bipasha Basu and Kathrina Kaif besides Saif of course.
Fardeen expressed that he
would not be able to do the film as his dates were clashing with Sajid Khan's film Hey Baby starting in January."
