Check out what the actor had to say about the initiative :
"Last year a friend of mine lost her mother to breast cancer. One of the main reasons that she lost the fight was, it was detected very late. In India breast cancer is the most common cancer amongst women. Approx 1.5 lac women are affected by it every year. The only way to fight the disease, is early detection. And that can happen only through regular checkups.
At ketto we have raised about 12 cr for the fight against cancer. And we wanted to take this fight one step forward. By not only raising money but also awareness. We wanted to start a campaign where not only women but men were also involved. Where men could encourage the women in their houses to do regular self-examinations, which are very simple and clinical checks once a year.
And that's why #MCBC. We all know that it is a derogatory term, often used. But we wanted to take that and turn it into something positive. All the money we make, will go into the fight against breast cancer. Look forward to your support."
