In the age of slapstick and adult comedies, 'Mubarakan' comes in like a breath of fresh air. The film thrives on pure and clean humor that appeals to an eight-year-old to an eighty-year-old equally.
'Mubarakan' is one of the few films which made no headlines in the context of Censor Board as there is no objectionable content in it.
Talking about the clean comedy director Anees Bazmee said, "This is the kind of film you can watch with your entire family; not even for a moment will you feel awkward. There's awesome chemistry between all the characters. I have worked with Anil in so many movies, but his character of Kartar Singh will not only make people laugh, but also make them cry. Also, Karan and Charan, the two wonderful characters played by Arjun, will make the audience fall in love with him."
The comic entertainer features Arjun Kapoor in a double role, with Anil Kapoor playing a pivotal role. The star cast also includes Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty who would be seen romancing Arjun Kapoor's dual roles.
'Mubarakan' has brought together the real life chacha- bhatija on screen for the first time. Along with the star cast, Pawan Malhotra and Ratna Pathak Shah are also seen in supporting roles.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Mubarakan is produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Ashwin Varde & Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and has released worldwide today.
