The team of 'Lucknow Central' had celebrated Independence day by performing at the Yerwada jail in Pune.
The entire cast of the film, including Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty, Ravi Kishan, Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal, Rajesh Sharma, Inaam-ul-Haq were present at the event along with director Ranjit Tiwari and composers Arjunna Harjie and Rochak Kohli.
Sanjay Dutt had spent 42 months in Yerwada Jail out of the total of five years of imprisonment that was awarded to him.
When team Lucknow Central visited the jail, a lot of the prisoners seemed to be extremely curious about Sanjay Dutt's whereabouts, who had served time in the same jail.
It seemed that Sanjay Dutt has an extremely dedicated fandom even behind the bars.
Sanjay Dutt's good nature was loved by every inmate of the jail. The actor shared a warm bond with them.
They asked questions regarding his upcoming movies and events like any true Dutt fan would do.

Lucknow Central' is set against the backdrop of a jail, where Farhan plays the role of Kishen Mohan Girhotra a prisoner, who is aspiring to be a Bhojpuri singer. His life turns upside down when he gets wrongly charged with a murder, and is sent to Lucknow Central jail.
