He shared with the audience that he promised himself that he would perform "Pind Daan" of his father only after he completes his sentence. And he went to Benaras with his friends and family during the ongoing Shradhs. He felt relieved and happy after he performed these rites.
Sanjay also narrated the unnerving incident when her daughters from the current marriage with Manyata insisted on talking to him during his sentence. He had instructed his wife never to bring them to jail during visiting hours every week. Her 6-year-old, twin kids Iqra Dutt and Shahraan were told that their father had gone for shooting in the mountains where there wasn`t any network. Since he was allowed to call only once a week. he used to talk to them and told them that he has come down from the mountains to make this call. He further shared that he would love to share with them this ordeal and story once his kids grow up.
Sanjay was brought up as any other kids and was sent to boarding school at Sanawar when he was 11 years old. His experience in eating hostel food helped him to cope up his during his detention at Yerwada Jail, Pune. He exercised regularly by filling the buckets with water and lifting them. He also did abs.
Sanjay did accept that he met Dawood Ibrahim and Anees Ibrahim at Dubai during the shooting of the movie, Yalgaar by Feroze Khan but he never met Abu Salem. He has accepted the fact that as a son, brother, father and husband, he wanted to protect his family and this is the reason for the weapon`s parts recovery from his house. And he has undergone the sentence for the crime.
Sanjay Dutt is currently waiting for the release of his first movie after he completed his detention. The movie, Bhoomi`s posters show him in a very angry facial expression. This movie also stars Aditi Rao Hydari as her daughter and the movie shows how a father from a small town tries to get justice for her daughter.
He also talked about his biopic `Dutt` starring Ranbir Kapoor. Though he shared whatever he could share with Raju Hirani, 2-3 hours cannot do justice to his whole life but whatever is being shown in the movie, it`s totally on what he shared with Raju.
His production house managed and run by his wife, Manyata Dutt is coming out with 2 movies in 2018; and Sanjay Dutt would be venturing into Direction in 3 years time.
