Judwaa 2 is rocking and why not. It's been a part of a successful franchise owned by the David Dhawan who has dished out hits like Jodi No. 1, Shaadi No. 1, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, Andaz, Partner, et al.

Judwaa was the prequel featuring Salman Khan. It was a super duper hit and made a lot of money. It was never expected that Judwaa featuring Varun Dhawan would make such a killing. It won't be a surprise if Judwaa 2 even beats Judwaa by a huge number after taking inflation into account.

Being a hit is a different thing but making 20+ crores in a day is something else. Varun Dhawan has now joined the league of youngsters making this phenomenal amount in a day. The others preceding him are Ranbir Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and MS Dhoni: An Untold Story respectively.

This competition is going to get even more severe with actors like Rajkummar Rao finding their tuning with movies like Shubh Mangal Savdhan and Newton. May the best man wins this smaller battle before crushing the bigger competition.
